Description

A Large Monstrance (height 43-3/4") made brass, 24-karat gold-plated with silver-plated and blue-enamelled accents. The sunburst-shaped glory consists of three layers of rays and two silver-plated wreaths made of ornate floral scrollwork. The bigger wreath is adorned with figures of God the Father and Jesus at the encrusted with synthetic red gemstones. A figure of the Holy Spirt (the Dove) is placed at the bottom of the sunburst. The stem is decorated with floral open filigrees. A silver-plated filigree design with blue-enamelled ornaments and synthetic red gemstones is attached to the round base. The monstrance is surmounted by a sculpted flowery cross. Host dimensions 2-3/4"
